Heath oriented: HSB is offering ‘medically enabled homes’ which it says are the first of their kind in Malaysia and in the region.
THE ARAGREENS development HSB Development comprises two component, Aragreens Residences and Aragreens Village.
For the past two years, the focus has been on Aragreens Residences Project. The project successfully integrates the concept of green building design, multi-generation living, and health and wellness.
There are six towers of services apartments with 700 units and the developer is able to allocate 63% for landscaping out of the entire 7.5 acres of land, providing 26 recreational facilities that caters for all ages.
One of the intention is to create a communal aspect by having a community whereby the residents can get to enjoy, share and mingle.
Aragreens Residences offer various types of units ranging from two-bedroom units with the size of 684sq ft to six-bedroom garden villas with a spacious built-up areas of 3,831sq ft.
With health and wellness concept in mind, the developer further established a ‘Medically Enabled Home’, which is the first of its kind in Malaysia and in the region.
Each Medically Enabled Home is equipped with the MediHome System. MediHome is a proprietary system from MobileHealth2U which is currently made exclusively to Aragreens Residences. It comes with wireless health monitoring devices such as blood pressure monitoring and blood sugar monitoring.
Smartphones and web browsers can easily retrieve the data and share it with family doctors. Besides having health monitoring devices, the architectural design of Aragreens Residences ensures that they are wheelchair friendly, elderly friendly and also child friendly.
There is a 1.4km jogging track within Aragreens for those who are active or those who prefer to have a stroll in the morning or evening.
The facilities are meant for all ages as multi-generational living is a major aspect of the development. Globally, especially among Asians, demand for multi-generational homes is increasing. The richness, texture and continuity of traditions in a multi-generational household are unmatchable.

Sitting on 1.3 acres next to Aragreens Residences, the project comprises a medical tower and a commercial tower.
Aragreens Village will provide the necessary amenities for shopping, dining, leisure, entertainment, wellness and health.
One of the highlights in the Aragreens Village is the Nursing Services. A joint venture between HSC HeathCare and Japan Medical Care Service, a true Japanese style nursing facility will be operating in the medical tower.
The Japanese nursing provider was chosen mainly because of its experiences in delivering high-quality services, experience and care management.

Aragreens Residences has already received both Singapore’s Green Mark Certification and Malaysia’s Green Building Index certification, and Aragreens Village is currently undergoing the green building certification process.
The buildings will incorporate the elements such as daylight provision of up to 80%, car park mechanical fans with carbon dioxide sensors, usage of drought tolerant plants, air conditioning systems that is capable of sensing carbon dioxide to regulate air flow, usage of energy saving lifts and others.
Aragreens Residences and Aragreens Village are located in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, near Sime Darby Group’s Seri Pilmoor project. The area is close to some major highways, a number of international schools and shopping centres.
